Attorney John M. Solt graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University with a degree in Political Science in 1998. Following college, John went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he graduated in the top one-third of his class and was honored with the Paul J. Hergenroeder Award for excellence in trial tactics.
Following graduation from law school, John pursued a career in public service with the Berks County Public Defender's office as a trial attorney. After four years with the Public Defender's office, John obtained employment with a private law firm handling auto and premises liability insurance defense matters. After this, John came on board the Slusser Law Firm where he has handled personal injury and criminal defense matters on behalf of the firm since 2009. During his 15-year career, John has handled over 1,000 criminal matters and recovered substantial sums for injured clients. John has tried cases to verdict in Luzerne, Lehigh, Dauphin, Lancaster, Berks, Schuylkill and Philadelphia counties. In 2010, John was named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, a distinction awarded to only two percent of Pennsylvania attorneys under 40. John received an invitation to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
John is married and lives in Forty Fort. When he is not seeking justice on behalf of his clients, John can be found spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
