John M. Solt
About
Attorney John M. Solt graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a degree in political science in 1998. Following college, he went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he graduated in the top one-third of his class and was honored with the Paul J. Hergenroeder Award for excellence in trial tactics.
Following graduation from law school, Attorney Solt pursued a career in public service with the Berks County Public Defender's Office as a trial attorney. After four years with the public defender's office, he obtained employment with a private law firm handling auto and premises liability insurance defense matters. From there, Attorney Solt came on board Slusser Law Firm, where he has handled personal injury and criminal defense matters on behalf of the firm since 2009.
During his 15-year career, Attorney Solt has established himself as a civil litigator and a champion of the people. He has recovered substantial sums for injured clients and has handled over 1,000 criminal matters. He has tried cases to verdict in Luzerne, Lehigh, Dauphin, Lancaster, Berks, Schuylkill, and Philadelphia counties. In 2010, Attorney Solt was selected to Rising Stars®, a distinction awarded to only 2 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys under 40 years of age. He also received an invitation to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Attorney Solt is married and lives in Forty Fort. When he is not seeking justice on behalf of his clients, he can be found spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
